Maybe I was never meant to fit into one box

For a long time, I thought I had to pick one version of myself. The engineer. The researcher. The girl at the gym. The one who stops mid-walk because the sky is doing something beautiful. It took me years to realise I don't have to choose.

Hi, I'm Priyanka. I worked in industry before deciding to go after a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the US. My research is about networks: how systems like power grids stay strong, and how ideas and influence spread through connected people. Outside the lab, I lift, I travel whenever I can, and I collect more sunset photos than any one person needs.

Why LiveLiftUp

When I was starting out, I didn't have many people to show me what the path to higher education abroad actually looks like: the applications, the doubts, the rejections, the small wins. I want to be that for someone else, especially women in India who are dreaming of a master's, a PhD, or a career in tech and wondering if it's really possible for them.

I'm not here because I have everything figured out. I'm here because I'm a few steps ahead on a road a lot of women want to walk, and I'd rather share it honestly than keep it to myself.
